Three destinations
Where your
stickers can go.
A pack goes into WhatsApp or Telegram. A single sticker goes onto a TikTok, a Reel or a CapCut edit. Pick your case — each one is three steps.
WhatsApp
The whole pack
Still or animated. Any Peel pack.
Telegram
The whole pack
Still packs only, for now.
TikTok, Reels, CapCut
One sticker
Through your gallery. Needs the next update.
First, get the pack into Peel
Skip this if you made the pack yourself, or it came with the app — it is already there. This is for a pack you downloaded from this site.
Download it
Tap Download the sheet on the packs page. Your browser saves it to Downloads. Chrome may warn that the file type is unusual: it is a zip of pictures, and Peel is the only app that reads it.
Open it in Peel
Tap Open in Peel beside the download and Peel opens its file picker in your Downloads folder, with the pack right there. By hand works too: open Peel, tap New pack, scroll to the bottom of the sheet and tap Import a pack file.
Confirm
Peel shows what it found — “Peel Halloween, 20 stickers, will be added to your packs” — and checks every sticker before anything is added. The pack is now yours, on your phone. Everything below starts from here.
Drag this one up and to the left. That is the whole idea of the app, and the only thing on this page you can play with.
WhatsApp — the whole pack
Works with every Peel pack, still or animated.
Open the pack in Peel
Tap it on the home screen.
Tap Add to WhatsApp
The button sits at the bottom of the pack.
Confirm in WhatsApp
It appears in your sticker tray straight away.
Telegram — the whole pack
Works with still packs. Animated ones are not offered: Telegram wants WebM VP9 or TGS for those, which Peel does not make yet.
Have Telegram installed
The button only appears when Peel can see it. Telegram, Telegram X and Telegram Web all count.
Tap Add to Telegram
In the pack, next to the WhatsApp button.
Name the set
Telegram takes over from here: it asks for a name, publishes the set under your own account, and gives you a link you can share.
TikTok, Instagram Stories, CapCut, Canva — one sticker
Video apps have no sticker packs. What they have is an overlay you pick from your gallery, so the sticker is saved to your phone first and placed from there.
Save the sticker
Open the pack in Peel, tap the sticker you want — press and hold, for an animated one — then tap Save to Photos. It lands in a Peel album: a still sticker as a transparent PNG, an animated one as a GIF.
Place it in the video app
In TikTok, start your video, tap the sticker icon down the right-hand side, and the first tile in that panel opens your gallery. Pick the sticker, tap OK, and it drops onto the video as an overlay you can drag and resize — cut-out edge intact, and an animated one keeps moving.
Instagram Stories, CapCut and Canva are the same idea: add an image or an overlay, then choose from the Peel album.
Say no to “Upload to remove background”
If TikTok offers it. Peel already cut the subject out on your phone; that option would send your picture to TikTok's servers to do it again.
If the button is not there
Tapping the download does nothing
Usually the browser rather than Peel: Chrome records the file as plain bytes and hands over a link with no filename, so Peel cannot tell it is a pack. Two ways round it, both one tap — Open in Peel beside the download, or Share from your Downloads list and pick Peel.
No Add to Telegram
Either Telegram is not installed, or the pack is animated. Still packs only, for now.
No Save to Photos
It arrives with the next update, and only on Android 10 and newer.
Why a file, and not a button inside the app
Peel has no internet permission at all. Not switched off — absent. You can see that for yourself in the app's permission list and in its Play Data safety entry. That is the whole point of Peel: your photos cannot be uploaded anywhere, because the app has no way to reach the network. The cost of that promise is this one: packs arrive as a file your browser downloads, rather than from inside the app.
